Having recently returned to the UK after 19 years of living in Australia I’m now seeing the UK through a fresh pair of eyes. Whilst living in Australia I studied Photography/painting at Deakin University in Melbourne. I’ve set up this blog to document my daily observations as I’ve decided that Instagram and Facebook are places I no longer wish to inhabit! The pics are mostly taken on my crappy iPhone 8, whilst I have a cupboard full of fancy camera gear, both digital and film, size and portability means the iPhone always wins :-) I’m challenging myself to take a picture a day to try to get back in the groove! I would like to start painting again but for some reason, I have a mental block and fear of not being good enough! I need to get over myself! Old artworks can be seen here ….
